I went to Roger Williams College (now University) back in the late 70's and we spent our last dime on a meal at the Casual Inn. I still dream about your linguine and white clam sauce with seafood, fried whole belly clams and your antipasto salad! Oh mommy I have to get back there one day soon. I flipped to see you're still in business and on Franklin St. I remember my roommate could barely get her Chrysler through the narrow street! Turning around was a scream! And I think it was a one way street, whoops. Great times, great memories, outstanding food. All the best to you all these years later!

I am planning on bringing my hisband there for a clamboil tonight 7-7-2012. It was his birthday yesterday and he has been itching for a clamboil. I was wondering if we need reservations. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi to all in the Casual Inn! I used to come down everyday at noon with a few buddies from the old Nike missile site for lunch and a bucket of clams, chicken lobster, a few stuffed Quahogs and more than one beer...about $3 . (1973). 39 yrs ago!!! We always kept a "Tab" with Kathleen. The Inn was our daily watering hole! Kathleen and Peter were our best friends. We always knew everything that was going on in downtown Bristol. I see in the photo that the place has not changed at all..very nice..always cozy and friendly... If I ever get back up to Mass or RI , I will surely visit my old hang out!!! It's great to see that somethings never change!! Drop me a line! Thanks guys......regards, Chuck

I and a friend were hoping to dine there this evening, but have been unable to get through by phone. Do we need reservations and do you have full liquor or is it byob? If reservations are required, may we have two for 6:30 this evening (11-29-11)? Thanks in advance Joe C
